Each paragraph should be at least 5 sentences long.

• Paragraph one is your introduction and must include your thesis statement.
• Paragraph two expands on the first supporting point of your thesis statement.

So, for instance, if your thesis statement is "Buddhism is one of the oldest and most popular religions in the world", then paragraph one would talk about how old Buddhism is and include information about its origins.
